This is the time of year when we see various forums reveal their predictions for the upcoming year 2010. This includes Politicians, Economists, Fortune 500 Companies, Environmental Groups, Banks, Scientists, Medicine, Oprah, Ellen, and Psychics to name a few.
In this article I list 10 predictions for the upcoming year. I pondered the benefit of listing depressing, fearful, tragic, and shocking news in my predictions and consciously chose to exclude them. The key word here is benefit and I believe there are no benefits to listing them.
As a clairvoyant, someone who sees energy, and a clairsentient, a person who feels energy, I have experienced and seen the impact that fear has on our energy.  This energy varies in appearance from person to person. The energy can look dark with shades of grey or have a muddy appearance. It can be a line or a circle-orb of deep red when anger towards something or someone surfaces. The energy around a person's physical body, their electromagnetic field or aura may have holes in it where the energy leaks out. This energetic depletion can affect the homeostasis, the well being of the physical body. Now imagine a whole nation of people whose energy is disrupted by emotions of fear, anger, grief, or feelings of hopelessness.

What we can do is remember that we individually and collectively hold the power to lift our thoughts, feel compassion in our hearts and can shift these emotional thoughts energetically at any given nanosecond. We are powerful energy generators. It is our thoughts and heartfelt intentions that create our daily experiences. This process doesn't stop here, our energy moves from us and travels out into the world across the globe. I believe that when we lift our thoughts, we elevate our energetic vibration and create a frequency that shifts our perception, our focus, and creates positive life affirming energy which makes a difference in our personal life. This energetic shift touches everyone we come in contact with and everyone they come in contact with. Our life unfolds in joyous, peaceful ways and we are in the ebb and flow of life. This shift creates many possibilities. 
When reading the predictions, remember there is always the 'Voice of Hope' and 'Freewill' that resides within each of us. We can bring the dark into the light with just a heartfelt thought.

JADE

A gemstone of unique symbolic energy, and unique in the myths that surround it. With its beauty and wide-ranging expressiveness, jade has held a special attraction for mankind for thousands of years.

This gem, with its discreet yet rather greasy luster, which comes in many fine nuances of green, but also in shades of white, gray, black, yellow, and orange and in delicate violet tones, has been known to Man for some 7000 years. In prehistoric times, however, it was esteemed rather more for its toughness, which made it an ideal material for weapons and tools. Yet as early as 3000 B.C. jade was known in China as 'yu', the 'royal gem'. In the long history of the art and culture of the enormous Chinese empire, jade has always had a very special significance, roughly comparable with that of gold and diamonds in the West. Jade was used not only for the finest objects and cult figures, but also in grave furnishings for high-ranking members of the imperial family. Today, too, this gem is regarded as a symbol of the good, the beautiful and the precious. It embodies the Confucian virtues of wisdom, justice, compassion, modesty and courage, yet it also symbolizes the female-erotic. A visit to the jade market, be it in Hong Kong or Rangoon, or at one of the Hong Kong jade auctions organized by Christie's, can give some idea of the significance this gem has for the people of Asia.

However, as long ago as the pre-Columbian period, the Mayas, Aztecs and Olmecs of Central America also honored and esteemed jade more highly than gold. New Zealand's Maoris began carving weapons and cult instruments from native jade in early times, a tradition which has continued to the present day. In ancient Egypt, jade was admired as the stone of love, inner peace, harmony and balance. In other regions and cultures too, jade was regarded as a lucky or protective stone; yet it had nowhere near the significance that it had in Asia, which was presumably due to the fact that people knew relatively little about this fascinating gem. Fortunately however, in recent times, people's understanding of this gem, which fascinates not only the connoisseurs by its perfect interplay of hardness and toughness with an enchanting range of colors and fine luster, has improved; and their esteem for it has been on the increase all over the world.

The next hour, however, was spent on astrology and its conflicting ideas among different modalities as well as reality itself. Without going into the empirical data that I barely gave him to sedate his ego, suffice to say that the holy books of the world all have different authors, from different time lines and usually completely different cultures. However the message and the knowledge achieved through nearly any of them is usually the same result. And while the validity of the books were obviously where he then wanted to go, I didn't let him, and we won't here.

He then reached for his iPhone. I thought "Awesome! We can relate! We are both apple junkies!". . . But alas, it was to be used as his weapon. He opened up his photo application, and showed me a picture that was labeled "the most important picture ever taken". I looked at it for a moment. I looked back up at him. He had the biggest grin on his face. Not an evil grin, but a grin of pride. A smile that must have been strong to stretch as far as it did across his face. It is the same grin I have when I feel as if I have come across something new. Something fantastic. He noticed me staring, shook off his smile, and said "We found these just a little bit ago. How is that for science?" This is where the veritable gloves came off.

When I saw this picture, I was made humble and happy, but no great realization took place. What does this picture reveal? How little we know? How insignificant our planet, and by proxy, our existence is? How is it, that a man of science would pride himself on the discovery, and actually claim that he "found" the smallest of pockets in the universe that reveal to him an ego-centered part of his science? This is where I would tend to defend my points similarly armed (my hand was already at my hip to draw my phone) and then attack his. But why? I am not going to change his mind. He was obviously happy and more then satisfied. Why would I change that? Would I want him to change that in me? This isn't to say that it isn't of INCREDIBLE spiritual importance to discuss ideas on a regular basis. But discussion, on the idea of ego-satisfaction and not in the spirit of learning (this meeting is of the first type) is time wasted.

Alright, let's bring this home. This man took great pride in what he thought was giving him purpose. And far be it from me to tell anyone that my way is better then there's. It isn't. As long as you are staying true to your passions and desires. Whoever you are or aren't praying to, whatever book you are or aren't reading, is because you find comfort, love, and empowerment from it. This isn't some hippy loving credo either. You are kidding with yourself if you think that you will live a happy life without examining your spiritual belief system at least once in your life even if that means returning exactly to your same creed and belief system. But you owe it to yourself to let your spirit shed a layer, and embrace the newly formed one, even if identical to its former. This is one of the keys to growth.

So I decided that I would put an idea out there. I am going to do it on a fairly conscious level myself in fact. I would challenge you to take (at least) 1 facet of your spiritual belief system and examine it up close and then far away. See what it would mean if that belief system was to be taken out of your ideology. Think about maybe adding a new one. Let the phoenix of your opinion burn to the ground and through it give birth to a more beautiful idea then before. Of course, this means embracing at least a small "death" or new "life" in your belief structure. Both are just as necessary, and depending on what side of the veil you are on, just as scary.

With this veritable thesis being done, I just want to say thank you from the deepest parts of my heart for your continued blessing and support. You all know the importance of the times we are living in. Whatever that means to you, do remember that we are all in this upcoming leap in awareness together. Regardless of the season, month, day, or moment, do your best to capture the consciousness that, once pervaded, is the reason for this season, and make it year around.
